Paying for Happiness: The unexpected cost of the pursuit of happiness
Is happiness free? According to researchers at Princeton, who surveyed 450,000 Americans between 2008 and 2009, it costs about $75,000. As income decreased from $75,000, people reported decreasing happiness and increasing sadness, as well as stress.

I believe part of the reason we are not as happy as we could be in the United States is linked to the Prescription drugs, large corporations, and our need for an instant life. We need things RIGHT now and we refuse to wait.
Instead of taking the time to lose weight properly we decide to take a pill or have our stomach altered to make it easier and faster. Instead of looking into a natural remedy for a health issue we take drugs given to us by doctors that have a list of harmful side effects along with only masking the problem we have.
Even though the video is very cool and shows we are mostly happy I don’t know that many of us understand what true happiness is. Nobody wants to admit they are not happy and probably don’t in most cases.
