Love, Lust or Chemistry?
Picture me doing a sha-bop-doo-wop dance step, spinning, clapping, grinning, because that’s how I feel when I’m with my guy… errr I mean guys.
There is “J” who I have the best time with, we talk and laugh and emotionally, I’m not closer to anyone else. We have developed a great friendship. We flirt, but it has never gone further than that.
Then there is “M” and we have that super sexy thang going on. Physically it’s as if he were plucked right out of my dreams. When we are together we are all heat.
So what’s the problem?
Just that, “M” and I are all heat. We’d make a great love scene, but a dull movie. As for “J” well if we were a movie, the dialogue would crackle, you’d whip out a tissue to catch a tear perhaps, but we are not physically attracted to each other in the least.
Do I have “chemistry” with either of these guys? I told you all before I’ve been married before, more than once and less than Elizabeth Taylor or Larry King.
There are naturally occurring chemicals in the brain that make me feel those romantic feelings and the desire to be physically close to “M” as well as emotionally close to “J” but just because I have a deep friendship, or a groovy lust thang going on doesn’t mean we are destined to walk it down the aisle.
Lasting love, soul mate love requires a measure of both. That’s real chemistry.
Love from your head and your heart.
