H1N1 vaccine for children: Just the facts ma’am
The CDC recommends that all children get the H1N1 vaccine. However, many people are doubtful about the vaccine and are not sure whether they want to give it to their children.
There are three types of H1N1 vaccines: 3 injectable versions and 1 nasal spray. If you want to get a H1N1 vaccination, contact your doctor. If you do not have health insurance and want the vaccination, go to your local pharmacy, public health clinic, workplaces, and retail clinics.
The vaccine is free. However the person administering the vaccination may charge a small fee for their time.
